A Place to Call Home

At Church of Our Saviour, our mission is to make God’s love tangible through, Spirituality, Community, Peace and Justice – and with Jesus’ central message of compassion and respect for all people under-girding all that we undertake.

In a world hungering for community to reach across all divides, Church of Our Saviour is a safe place where one can learn and practice how to express daily the deep truth of the inter-connectivity of all people and all of creation.

Those who join us find us joyfully and energetically challenging one another and the church at at large to live into Jesus’ central message of compassion for all and to respect the dignity of every human being.

The Appreciative Inquiry Process

We follow the Appreciative Inquiry method, as expressed by Rob Voyle and the Clergy Leadership Institute. We began by identifying our core values: Meaningful Liturgy, Radical Hospitality (building community), making a difference where we can (Outreach)., and continual spiritual growth through life-long learning (Education).

We are discovering and making every effort to appreciate what is valuable about who we are as individuals and as a community.

We join with people by discovering what is working and valued.  We establish goals by imaging what we could create with the resources we have.  We co-create outcomes by discovering, accessing, and applying resources to the current situation until we achieve the goal.
