We need your help

We Need Your Help with the 11th Annual Sue’s Crew Cancer Walk on Saturday, May 16th. It begins and ends right here at COS.  The event honors local cancer victim Sue Hillbrecht and has raised over $180,000 since it began.

All funds raised support the American Cancer Society, the Oncology Center at Summit Regional Medical Center, and local residents who are suffering a financial hardship due to cancer. Walkers begin to cover the 5-mile loop route up to six times beginning at 7:00AM and find a welcoming oasis of refreshment and rest at our parish hall throughout the day.

We need volunteers for any of the 2-hour shifts from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  You’ll greet walkers and either be serving hot dogs or running the ice cream machine. We also need your donations of small pre-wrapped cookies, brownies, and potato chips or fruit and pre-washed and bagged clusters of grapes.

There are signup sheets for both volunteering and donating food in the Parish Hall. This is a great opportunity to support the community, represent COS in the community, and have fun doing it!
