Kathryn Melsted was the fortunate recipient of the Baby Jesus in the Epiphany cake. According to Mexican tradition, the person who finds the Baby Jesus is responsible for hosting a tamale party to celebrate Candlemas on February 2. In keeping with this custom, church members gathered together to make tamales for everyone. They were delicious!
